Draft — to be reviewed by a solicitor before Kallo is sold.
Data deletion
Most of your Kallo data lives on your own Mac, so you can delete it yourself at any time. This page shows how to disconnect each platform, how to remove Kallo’s access from the platform’s side, and how to ask us to delete the little we hold.
1. Disconnect a platform in Kallo
- Open Kallo and go to the business, then the account you want to disconnect (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X).
- Choose Disconnect.
- Kallo deletes that account’s access and refresh tokens from your Mac and stops using it straight away. Drafts you made stay on your Mac until you delete them.
2. Delete everything on your Mac
- Disconnect each platform as above (or revoke access on the platform — section 3).
- Quit Kallo.
- Delete Kallo’s data folder — your library, drafts, settings and tokens — and then move the Kallo app to the Bin and empty it.
Because this data never reaches us, deleting it on your Mac deletes it completely. Posts you already published stay on each platform until you delete them there.
3. Revoke access on each platform
Revoking on the platform cuts Kallo off even if the app is not on your Mac any more. Menu names can change slightly between app versions.
TikTok
- In the TikTok app, tap Profile, then the Menu (☰) at the top right.
- Tap Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions.
- Tap Kallo → Remove access.
Instagram and Facebook (Meta)
- In Instagram, go to your profile, tap the Menu (☰), then Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
- Under Active, tap Kallo → Remove.
- If you connected through a Facebook Page, also open Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → Kallo → Remove.
YouTube (Google)
- Go to myaccount.google.com/connections and sign in with the Google account that owns your channel.
- Select Kallo.
- Choose Delete all connections you have with Kallo and confirm.
X
- Go to x.com/settings/connected_apps, or in the app Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps.
- Select Kallo → Revoke app permissions.
4. Ask us to delete your data
We hold only your waitlist or beta details, messages you’ve sent us, and short-lived technical logs (see the Privacy Policy). We don’t store your content or your platform tokens. To have us delete what we hold:
- Email [email protected] from the address you used with Kallo, with the subject “Delete my data”. If you’re writing about a connected platform account, include its @handle or channel name.
- We’ll confirm we received it within a few working days, and may ask you to confirm it’s you.
- We’ll delete your data within 30 days and email you when it’s done. If the law requires us to keep anything (for example a record of the request itself), we’ll tell you what and why.
Deleting data doesn’t delete posts you already published on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X — remove those in each platform. To delete your whole account on a platform, use that platform’s own account settings.
